What is Training?


Many people use the term training rather loosely.  They attend a day long seminar on how to loose weight and say they attended a weight loss training. This is not what training is.You may have learned something from that seminar, and you may even remember it a week or a month later. But learning is only a part of training. My definition of training is when the you learn a skill as the result of the the training that you experienced. A skill is much more than knowledge – there are many people out there who are "book smart". A person who is skilled is actually able to perform something, and therefore produce results. The goal of training is to for you to acquire the skill you need to perform and produce results.
